On Clearwater Beach
Visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and see what local wildlife is being cared for in this recovery habitat. Here you can visit with the otters, get up close and personal with turtles and maybe even catch a glimpse of a dolphin.- If sailing is something that interests you, check out the Clearwater Community Sailing Center. It’s located just over the Sand Key Bride on the south end of Clearwater Beach. Here they offer sailing experiences for members and visitors alike.
- Don’t miss the Clearwater Beach Marina! Here you can join a Dolphin Encounter, take a pirate cruise with real pirates, or take a wild ride on the Sea Screamer, the world’s largest speedboat. There are also several evening dinner cruises that can be sophisticated fun for the whole family.
- For more family fun, there’s nothing like miniature golf. On Clearwater Beach there’s the famous Captain Bligh’s Landing, an 18-hole mini golf course carved in the shape of a pirate ship and boasting several waterfalls and beautiful scenery.
- To see all the attractions on Clearwater Beach, check out the Jolley Trolley. This is not only a means of transportation, but is also a fun way to get to know the area and make a plan for your vacation.
